Confidence

Confidence, according to one dictionary definition is defined as faith and trust.

Today, we are losing our faith and trust in the most important entities that we have relied upon for so many years. Without true leadership restoring, preserving, and adhering to the Constitution of the United States, it may be decades before such confidence may be restored. Confidence is the underlying fundamental that holds it all together. Confidence has now been shattered.

Surveys show conclusively and overwhelmingly that we as a people have lost confidence in Government, Wall Street, Corporate America, Stock Brokers, and Financial Advisors. Our elected officials in the main can no longer be trusted. The very entities that we have entrusted in our system of government and capitalism are the very entities (to an extent) that got us into this mess.

Government

The confidence that we have in our elected officials is at an all time low; on both sides of the aisle. Monumental bills (some over 1,000 pages) changing the landscape of America, are being signed and voted into law by a congress who admittedly, as a matter of public record,  have stated they have not even read the bills. Politicians are viewed (in the main) as corrupt and paid for. Politicians are not always honest. Ignore what they say and watch what they do.

We have a system of government that works-we just need the right people to run it. Very few are presently at the helm with utter disregard for the Constitution of the United States. America is being transformed before our very eyes at an alarming rate. Let’s review one dictionary definition of Socialism and Fascism.

Socialism – A socialist system in which the government owns and controls the means of production such as land and factories and controls the distribution of goods and services.

Fascism- A system of government marked by dictatorship, government control of the economy, zealous nationalization, and suppression of all opposition.
Many people feel we are moving towards a socialist society with too much government intervention and control into capitalism and into our daily lives. Most Americans oppose this. Fewer embrace it. Thirty four Czars and counting…

Wall Street/Corporate America

Wall Street has taken Main Street to the poor house. Shady regulators asleep at the wheel. Greed run amuck. As the transformation of America is under way it will be very hard to determine Wall Street and Corporate America from the Government as they are to some extent becoming one entity, one in the same. Wall Street has wreaked havoc all across the globe.

Stock Broker – Financial Advisor

Warren Buffett said it best – “Wall Street is the only place where the people drive to in a Rolls Royce to get advice from those who take the subway”. Today the term “Trusted Advisor” is an oxymoron. The game is over.  Many “Financial Advisors” (if not in prison) are looking for a new line of sales work, however as the greatest depression sets in, they may join the ranks of the unemployed.

Media

As Walter Cronkite goes, so goes our trust in the information we receive from mainstream media.

The government media complex has been programming and brainwashing the American Public for decades. This is increasingly worse and increasingly obvious as recent surveys show. The media is bias and is controlled to a greater or lesser extent. The media circus that surrounds us is nothing but a smoke screen. Getting credible information that we can trust is becoming a challenge. You won’t find much of the truth on mainstream media. Change the channel.
